Meet friend and ICON Tanya Ruban. 38 years old, model, mother and
entrepreneur living in Barcelona.

In a world that rarely stops, how do you create your own interludes?

“You know, as a model with my hectic shadow and as a mom of two, which is already too overwhelming, I’m focussing on small quiet moments like deep breath, walk in a forest, sip of water and trying to be present.”

How does your wardrobe shift when you move from high-energy moments into quieter interludes during the day?

“I love to structure my wardrobe. I love suits. I love coats. It’s like some kind of little ritual for me. You know, if I dress up, if I put on layers like a shirt, trousers, maybe little heels, I know I feel confident. I feel focused. I’m moving forward.”

What does it mean to truly pause, and how do you know when you need it?

“A true pause for me is to come back to your senses, to notice your
breath, to notice world around you, feel your heartbeat.”
