Paris can feel endless, but if you’ve only got a couple of days, here’s where we’d go. No tourist traps, no stress - just good coffee, beautiful spaces, and the kind of places that stay with you long after you leave. This is our must-go edit for a short but sweet Paris trip.
COFFEE:
White Coffee
A quiet favorite near Canal Saint-Martin, White Coffee is all clean lines, soft light, and expertly made brews. It’s the kind of place you plan to stop by quickly, then stay longer than expected. Don’t miss their matcha cookies - subtly sweet, perfectly chewy, and just the right amount of unexpected.
Ten Belles
Right by Canal Saint-Martin, Ten Belles is one of those spots that never lets you down. Great coffee, friendly people, and probably the best banana bread you’ll have in Paris. It’s small, always busy, but totally worth squeezing in for a quick break - or taking your cup to the canal.
ART:
Palais de Tokyo
If you’re into modern art, Palais de Tokyo is a must. The space itself is massive and
raw, more industrial than polished - which makes the art feel even more alive. It’s the
kind of place where you never really know what you’ll walk into, and that’s the best
part. Outside, grab a seat on the steps and watch skateboarders do their thing with the
Eiffel Tower casually in the background. Classic Paris, but not the postcard version.
Bourse de Commerce
The building alone is worth the visit. Bourse de Commerce blends centuries-old
architecture with minimalist, contemporary design - a huge circular space crowned by
a glass dome, reimagined by architect Tadao Ando. It’s quiet, almost meditative inside,
with natural light spilling across raw concrete walls and curated modern art. Even if
you’re not usually into museums, this place makes you feel something. Take your time.
Look up often.
SHOP:
OFR Bookstore
OFR is one of those places where you can easily lose track of time. It’s packed with art
books, indie magazines, and a carefully curated mix of new and rare finds. The vibe is
creative and relaxed - perfect if you’re looking for something a little different to take
home or just want to flip through some inspiring pages.
Archivist Vintage
Archivist Vintage feels like stepping into someone’s impeccably styled closet - but
better. Every piece is handpicked with real care, mixing timeless classics with
unexpected gems. It’s the kind of vintage store that doesn’t overwhelm but invites you
to slow down and really explore.
DINNER:
Soces
Tucked away in the 11th, Soces is the kind of place you almost don’t want to share. A small, relaxed spot with natural wines and a menu that changes with the seasons. No scene, no fuss - just really good food and people who care about what they’re serving.
Early June
Early June feels like discovering something before it blows up. They bring in guest chefs from all over, so the menu’s always changing - but it’s always interesting. It’s cozy, low-key, and full of people who really love food. Walk-ins only so come early.
Mao Dumplings
Sometimes you just want something fast and really, really good. Mao Dumplings nails it - crispy, golden dumplings straight off the pan, with just the right amount of heat. Perfect for a quick lunch or an easy dinner when you’re tired of reservations.
Chez Janou
A Paris classic that doesn’t feel too polished. Chez Janou is lively, casual, and full of locals. Order whatever you like - but save room for the chocolate mousse. They bring the bowl to your table, and they don’t count spoonfuls. You’ll get it.
HOTEL:
Hotel Grand Amour
A little bit chaotic in the best possible way. Grand Amour is bold, romantic, and totally
unfiltered - mismatched rooms, velvet everything, and just the right amount of
eccentric charm. The café downstairs is perfect for solo breakfasts, people-watching,
or a late glass of wine that turns into two. It’s not polished, but that’s exactly the point.
Hotel La Pigalle
La Pigalle feels like staying at a friend’s place - if your friend has great taste in music,
vintage furniture, and lighting that makes everyone look good. The rooms are full
of little details that don’t feel over-designed, just right. Everything somehow smells
amazing - like Le Labo Santal 33 is in the air. It’s cool, but not trying too hard.
