Meet friend and muse: Mine Sassy. Model, painter, and primary school teacher of visual arts in Paris.
“Being a teacher and a model ar e two very different worlds. I get a lot of affection from the kids - which I love! But doing my own art and working in the fashion industry gives my life a nice balance. A day in Paris begins with a coffee or tea, and then I go to work at my school. We paint on the floor or anywhere the children can express emotion through art. I work part-time, so sometimes I like to go to a park or just take a walk around Paris, depending on the weather. Introducing the second in a series of portraits and interviews that focus on inspiring female profiles, muses, brand ambassadors, and friends, whom we call INWEAR ICONS.
I love Paris because it has great energy and is such a beautiful city. You can easily walk around, and I find the neighbourhoods so varied that you get a new atmosphere or experience wherever you go. It’s also the fashion capital of the world! One of my favourite places for a coffee or cocktail is the Grand Amour Hotel. It’s a beautiful spot where a lot of artists gather, and the energy is amazing. My main inspirations are people and music. Music is very important to me — I need it when I’m painting.”
